My name is Mandi .im 13 yrs old and live in California. I love animals(mostly horses) I have 3 dogs(Bear, Marius, and Linda) 2 birds(Sunbeam and Clown) 2 cats(Rose and Tiger), 1 Horse(Tilly) and some fish.My intrests are books/magazines, music: country, rock and pop, pets and animals, photography. I also like swimming and motorcycle riding, but my fave thing to do is ride my horse Tilly.:�

HorseBack Riding

My horse Tilly is a Bay, Quarter Horse Mare. I ride western and am planning on starting english this summer. In western I show Halter/showmanship, Western Pleasure,Western Equitation, Trail, and a little bit of Gymkhana. The Gymkhana events that are my favorites are Birangle, SpeedBall , Hurry Scurry, Keyhole and Pole Bending.In English I plan on doing Hunter Under Saddle and Hunter/Hack. Breyer Model horses

I collect, show, remake, race, and breed model horses. Breyer Horses are made of plastic. They come in many different molds and colors. I own over 70 model horses. Collecting involves collecting the different molds and models of Breyer. They have limited and commemorative editions each year which are often a favorite to collect. Showing a model horse is just like showing a real one. They are judged on condidtion, comformation, sudibility to that event and the tack they are wearing. Along with other factors.Theres photo and live shows.Remaking is when a model is repainted, repostioned, and/or haired to make it look closer to a real horse. Racing is when a photo is taken of the horse in its racing tack and is pretty muched judged on the same thing as showing. Breeding involves choosing a sire(dad)and dam(mom) for the model. there is a small stud fee also for using someone elses stud(stallion). This is a fun and interesting hobby. Theres is a Magazine called Just About Horses that is a great help to hobbiests.
